The new judge panel for this season has been confirmed: while Madhuri has been replaced by Shahid Kapoor, Remo D'Souza has been replaced by choreographer Ganesh Hedge and Karan Johar will remain there. Also, there is a new addition which is Lauren Gotlieb. Now this girl has sure come a long way from being a contestant on the show (season 6) to being a challenger on season 7 with Salman Yusuff Khan to actually becoming a judge on season 8! Wow, way to go girl!
However, will the audiences accept a foreigner as a judge? She won't be able to give comments in Hindi or have so much knowledge about the expressions, she will surely be able to comment on the technical aspects of dance!

I feel Salman Yusuff Khan should've been one of the judges, perhaps instead of Ganesh Hedge! He is a fabulous choreographer and a fantastic dancer and deserves his due.
Some of the contestants of this season include Shamita Shetty, Ashish Chaudhary, Kavita Kaushik, Mohit Malik & Sanaya Irani.
